- What an uninhibited, animated morning our kids had dancing with Maxim Kozhevnikov! We are still basking in the afterglow of another playful, laughter-filled session of learning during our Youth Dance Camp with Max! We are grateful that our young dancers were able to spend two action-packed hours learning from one of the DanceSport world’s top creative directors. With an already strong foundation in technique, styling, and timing, our kids were able to tackle higher-level concepts of performance and artistry with Maxim. They explored how to get into character to tell a story, how to feel the fun and freedom of music through impromptu sing-alongs, allowing them to express their dance “attitudes,” and how to create never-before-danced movements for their upcoming Summer Showcase performances. Thank you, Max, for sharing your gifts with our kids as you left them with bigger smiles, greater knowledge, and a sense of their own personal presence as dancers.Curious to see the imaginative, final dance production?
