- Hip and Rosemary Lui are a 70 year old Urban Ballroom dance couple that lives and dances in Los Angeles. Hip is an outstanding instructor in a group of excellent Urban Ballroom instructors teaching Urban Ballroom dancing in Los Angeles. Hip studied Urban Ballroom dancing under the late and great Mack Hopson who helped to bring Urban Ballroom dancing to Southern California. He has also learned under the extraordinary Detroit Ballroom teachings of Kevin 'Flash' Collins and Bobby 'Mr. GrAystone' Green, both of whom are a greater part of the Detroit Ballroom Dance community of Detroit Michigan. Hip has added his own flair to the dance making him and his wife of 50 years Rose Lui popular in the Los Angeles Dance Community. Hip teaches on Monday nights in Los Angeles.
