- Creativity unleashed! If you wanted to film a documentary about creative genius, this weekend would have been full of great footage! Imaginative, experimental, truly original…just a few words to describe our creative Show Dance master, Maxim Kozhevnikov, and his teachings. Thank you, Max, for making another special visit to DCDA and for unleashing our students’ creative energy on the dance floor! We had a powerful, motivated group of advanced, adventurous, and open-minded dancers take advantage of this exclusive time during private sessions and Elite Workshops with Max. We explored how to make the audience feel and believe, as we focused on doing our best “job” as performers and artists to convey emotion through movement; How to be a true vessel for creativity, as we must learn to let go and let the music move through us; And using the principles of Tai Chi, how to feel the flow, and remove blocks in energy and our ideas, allowing for spontaneity and naturalness in our dancing. Thank you, Max, for sharing your innate talents and exuberant spirit with our students and studio!
